NOTES — The Jimmy Carter Bronze Medal features a portrait of Jimmy Carter with the inscription “PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES” centered along the top of the medal and the inscription “JIMMY CARTER” centered on the right side of the medal.
Within a wreath of 50 stars, the reverse of the medal features the presidential seal with a map of the United States in the background.
The inscription “INAUGURATED JANUARY 20, 1977” is under the seal with an excerpt from President Carter’s Inaugural Address: “THE AMERICAN DREAM ENDURES..WE MUST ONCE AGAIN HAVE FAITH IN OUR COUNTRY… -JIMMY CARTER.”
