Used on most Carnival Cruise Lines ships, chip was once used as match play chip on even money and some table play games As of 2020, CCL has allowed the player to use the chip without match one time only.
These chips $5, $25, $100 and $500 are awarded on a basis of table play rating on previous cruises. Once onboard, customers receive a letter in they stateroom notifying them they have the chips to pick up at the cage.
All ships use NCV chips as currency for one-time only.
